AI Business Idea #017

He made $75 in 24 Hours with ChatGPT alone 🤑

Gooooooood mooooorning guys 👋🏼

The weekend is over, it’s monday and here we go again. Daily a new idea.

Btw posted a new YouTube Video for Idea #16 ⬇️

And today we have another founder interview with a very easy ai business idea you can steal today!

✅ Easy to duplicate
✅ ChatGPT is doing all the work

So welcome to another episode of:
Founders Who Built and Launched Their AI Businesses.

Today you can meet Michael Sherriff from the UK.
He walked away from his comfy 9–5 over 15 years ago...
…and now uses ChatGPT to flip prompts into digital products that print cash every day.

This one’s insane because:
❌ No audience
❌ No complex tools

👇🏼 So Let’s fucking go.

👤 Interview: The Guy Who Makes Money Selling ChatGPT Outputs

The Idea 💡 → Prompt Flipping

So who are you, what are you doing, and what’s your background?
“I'm Michael Sherriff and back in 2005, I left a high-paying job to build a life of freedom online. I’ve done it all like SEO, social media, info products and even black hat stuff.
But today, I use ChatGPT to create fast, simple micro-products like checklists, templates, and affirmations… then flip them on Etsy and Gumroad.
Everyone else is selling prompt packs. I sell the output. I call it Prompt Flipping.”

What was your first micro product and did it sell?
“I created motivational affirmation cards for people changing careers.
Used a simple prompt, gave it to ChatGPT, cleaned it up in Canva. It made $75 in the first 24 hours. That’s when I realized: stop selling prompts. Sell the thing the prompt makes.”

How do you come up with product ideas?
“No fancy tools. I literally scroll through Etsy and Gumroad manually.
Look for bestsellers, especially physical products that could be digital (like affirmation cards, planners, cheat sheets). Don’t copy. Just improve what’s already selling.
Simple > complicated.”

Can you give us a prompt you use to make products?
“Sure. One of my favorites is: “List 50 mistakes [audience] make when trying to [outcome].” Example: “50 mistakes new Etsy sellers make when trying to get their first sale.” This gives me a perfect printable checklist or cheat sheet I can sell for $7.
Created in 2 minutes. Uploaded in 5.”

What’s your step-by-step process from idea to product?

  1. Research what’s selling on Etsy or Gumroad

  2. Spot a physical product that could become a digital download

  3. Write and test a ChatGPT prompt

  4. Paste the output into Canva or Google Docs

  5. Upload, title, and publish on the platform

  6. If it sells → improve, bundle, relist at higher price 💰

How long does it take to make one product?
15–30 minutes.
I don’t care about perfect.
I care about: “Will someone buy this?”
If yes → polish it later.”

How much do you make per product?
“$3–$8 for single micro products
Bundles make way more ($15–$30+)
More listings + more platforms = more money.
It’s just math.”

Which platforms work best?
🥇 Etsy = most traffic
🥈 Gumroad = solid passive sales
🥉 Teachers Pay Teachers = great for school/edu stuff”

Do you do any paid ads or social traffic?
“Nope.
Just good SEO: titles, descriptions and clean thumbnails.
Let Etsy’s search engine do the work.
I’d rather make 3 more products than spend 3 hours posting on Instagram.”

How do you price your products?
“Impulse pricing. $3–$8. Make it a no-brainer.
Once it’s selling and getting reviews, I bundle it with others → sell it for $20+.”

What’s a product that totally flopped?
“An insect-themed printable.
No demand. Nobody cared.
Lesson: Don’t fall in love with your idea. Fall in love with what sells.
Fail fast and move on.”

What are your 3 top-performing products?

  1. “50 Mistakes [Audience] Make…”

  2. Product bundles

  3. Editable white-label versions with resell rights
#3 is smart because now I’m selling to creators, not just consumers.

How many products have you listed?
“A few hundred across multiple platforms.
It’s a numbers game.
Speed > perfection.
Launch > polish > bundle.”

How do you make your stuff look premium?
“Canva. That’s it.
I’m not a designer.
I just use pre-made templates and Canva elements.
The content does the heavy lifting.”

What makes your products better than the rest?
“I solve real problems for specific people.
And I always try to improve what’s already out there.
If you can beat the competition in just one way, you win.”

Are you scaling this into something bigger?
“Yes. I built a Python script that bulk-generates products using ChatGPT’s API.
Feed it a spreadsheet of prompts → script creates drafts → I format them in Canva → done. Each product costs just cents to create. Total game changer.”

🛠️ Daily Tools

  • ChatGPT

  • Canva

  • Google Docs

  • Etsy + Gumroad

  • And my Python script doing the dirty work while I sip coffee 😎

🔥 Biggest Lesson?
“Speed beats perfection. Make it fast, test it, polish what sells, bundle winners, repeat.”

💸 What gave you the biggest revenue spike?
Bundles. Take 3 good sellers → bundle them → price 3x higher
No extra work. Just profit.”

🎯 If you had to start again from $0 — what would you do?
“Skip the branding, skip social media.
Use ChatGPT + Canva + Etsy.
Find a proven product → make it better → list it fast.
Let the platform send you free traffic.
Ask ChatGPT to analyze winning listings and tell you how to beat them.”

💬 Last words from Michael:

“Everyone else is trying to sell prompts.
I just sell the results.
ChatGPT writes it, Canva formats it, Etsy sells it.
If you can copy/paste and click 'publish' — you can do this.”
